In addition to our cooks who provide the meals for us, we are heavily dependent on our volunteer visitors who are matched with a friend and commit to one hour per week to deliver the meals to that friend and have a short visit.  Since we have freezer and meal locations spread across the region, as well as friends needing visitors across the same areas, we endeavor to match volunteer visitors with a client close to their work or home so that the visits become an easy and natural part of their daily life.  You would be surprised how many friends in need of our service might be right around the corner from you!

If you can join us as a volunteer visitor, we can promise you one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.  Our  volunteer visitors see the same client every week.  They really get to know each other forming a true and caring relationship.  Some of our friends say it is one of the best friendships they have ever had – some volunteer visitors say the same thing.
